How to install Linux Distro Using WSL2 in Windows 10

WSL stands for Windows Subsystem For Linux.Below are the steps to install Linux distro in Windows 10 using WSL

Enable WSL: There are two methods two enable the WSL in Windows 10. graphical mode &  CLI mode

Graphical Mode

In order to enable WSL feature , just go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Feature On or Off  and enable the Windows Subsystem For Linux Feature

CLI Mode

-Click on Start menu > Search for PowerShell > Right Click on PowerShell > & Run as Administrator

-Run the command as show below

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all /norestart

For WSL2: If you want to update to WSL2 , add these steps after enable the WSL in Windows 10.

-Restart the system

-open the Microsoft Store

-Search for your favorites Linux distro & Install it

-After download the distro , launch it.
