OBS Studio is one of the powerful yet free opensource screen recorder & live streaming broadcasting app for Windows,Linux,Mac computers. In this tutorial I will guide you how can you install OBS studio in Linux system.
As of now OBS studio officially support only Ubuntu OS. But there are unofficial methods used to install OBS studio on another Linux based distros OS. You can visit the official page in order to install OBS on your Linux distros. But below I am trying to show how you can install OBS studio in Parrot OS Linux.
Note: I am using Parrot OS version as mentioned in below picture. Please check accordingly.
Follow below instructions to install OBS studio in Parrot OS.
run the below commands step by step:
1-sudo apt-get update #update the package repository
2-sudo apt-get upgrade #if you want to install latest packages for your system
3-sudo apt install ffmpeg #this package is required in order to install & run OBS studio
4-sudo apt install obs-studio # install the OBS studio application
5-repeat the first command
